Question 1

How much does yoga teacher training cost in Dubai?

Accepted Answer

Our Yoga Alliance RYT 200 costs AED 9,500 at the early-bird price (AED 10,700 standard) for the weekday or weekend batch, and AED 10,500 for the flexible Hybrid. The fee includes your manual, all materials, the exam and certification. You can split it into 4 interest-free payments of AED 2,375 with Tabby.

Question 2

Which yoga teacher training course should I start with?

Accepted Answer

If you want to teach, start with the RYT 200: it is the internationally recognised foundation qualification. If you are not sure yet, take the free 10-hour Yoga Foundation course or sit in on a live training class first.

Question 3

Is your yoga teacher training certified by Yoga Alliance?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Thousand Petaled Lotus is a Yoga Alliance Registered Yoga School holding both RYS 200 and RYS 300. Graduates can register as RYT 200, and later as RYT 500 after our 300-hour training.

Question 4

Can I work as a yoga teacher in the UAE with this certificate?

Accepted Answer

Yes. We are also a REPs UAE registered training provider, so graduates can register with REPs UAE, which most gyms, hotels and studios in the UAE look for, as well as with Yoga Alliance for teaching abroad.

Question 5

How long does the RYT 200 take?

Accepted Answer

About three months. The weekday batch runs Monday to Friday mornings, the weekend batch runs Saturday and Sunday, and the Hybrid lets you complete the same 200 hours at your own pace around your roster.

Question 6

Is the training in person or online?

Accepted Answer

The RYT 200 and RYT 300 are taught in person at our studio in Dubai Sports City, in small groups of 8 to 10. Our app supports you between sessions and lets you catch up a missed module, but it is not an online-only course.

Question 7

Can I study while working full time?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Choose the weekend batch, or the Hybrid, which is built for cabin crew and shift workers: start when it suits you and choose your days each week.

Question 8

Do I need to be advanced or very flexible?

Accepted Answer

No. You need a regular practice and a sincere wish to learn. Many trainees start with a year or two of regular classes; commitment matters far more than a handstand.

Question 9

Can I join just to deepen my own practice?

Accepted Answer

Absolutely. Many trainees join to deepen their practice and understanding of yoga rather than to teach. You get the same certificate either way.

Question 10

What is the difference between RYT 200, RYT 300 and RYT 500?

Accepted Answer

RYT 200 is the foundation certificate for teaching yoga. RYT 300 is an advanced training for teachers who already hold a 200-hour certificate. When you complete both, you can register with Yoga Alliance as an RYT 500.

Question 11

What will I be able to teach after the RYT 200?

Accepted Answer

Hatha yoga is the core, and you also learn to teach Vinyasa, Power Yoga, pranayama and meditation, so you can lead mixed-level group classes and private sessions.

Question 12

I already have my RYT 200. What next?

Accepted Answer

The RYT 300 advanced training takes you to RYT 500, and the Meditation and Swing Yoga trainings add specialist skills to your teaching.
